RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a school nurse to join our competent and engaged team of wonderful school nurses.

As a school nurse, you are part of the centrally organized student health service, which, in addition to school nurses, consists of school doctors, psychologists, counselors, special education teachers, special needs teachers, and social pedagogues. You follow Sjöbo Municipality's basic program and management system for the medical aspects of student health. This includes, among other things, health conversations, health checks, vaccinations, and open reception. You are part of the student health team, working closely with the principal, counselor, special education teacher, and psychologist, to complement educators and optimize the conditions for each student to reach their knowledge goals.

You work to ensure that students achieve the best possible development by being part of creating environments that promote students' learning, development, and health. You support the student's development towards the school's goals with preventive and health-promoting measures regarding health issues and well-being at both individual and group levels.

There is ongoing work in Sjöbo focused on health-promoting and preventive measures, such as vital conversations and health lessons as a recurring activity during the students' school years.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

Licensure as a nurse, as well as specialized training as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse.
Experience as a nurse.
Experience with documentation in digital medical record systems.
Experience working with children and young people.
Category B driver's license and access to a private car.

It is an advantage if you have experience working as a school nurse in both regular and adapted primary schools.
