Radiology in Trelleborg is part of the Business Area (VO) Imaging and Function at Skånes University Hospital (Sus). The department consists of three conventional X-ray rooms, two computed tomography (CT) scanners, one magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) unit, and one ultrasound (US) unit. The department employs radiographers, nursing assistants, doctors, medical secretaries, and a sonographer. The unit has a total of approximately 30 employees.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

No day with us is like the other! Working as a radiographer means you rotate within our unit and perform X-ray examinations on conventional X-ray, CT, and MRI. You may also work as a coordinator, MRI coordinator, and prepare patients for CT/MRI examinations. This means you rotate among different locations and perform various tasks that provide opportunities for professional development. You can also specialize in a specific area if you wish.

In your role as a radiographer, you will work in a team with radiographers and nursing assistants to perform X-ray examinations. You will also work with medical secretaries and doctors depending on your placement.

We offer several planned internal training sessions per semester and the opportunity to take courses every year. We have regular workplace meetings and social activities that contribute to a health-promoting work environment.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekend in a rolling schedule covering six weeks, where you work five evenings and one weekend. On-call duty is included for evening and weekend work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed radiographer with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Knowledge of Swedish language equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. It is meritorious if you have a few years of experience in the profession, experience with on-call work, and experience with Siemens/GE CT and Siemens MRI.

We are a small work group that works closely together. This means we are looking for someone who is secure in their role, has a positive attitude towards their work and colleagues, and contributes to a good climate in the work group. To succeed in this role, you need good collaboration skills and a very good attitude towards patients and colleagues. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
