RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Research Nurse, you work with coordinating, planning, and conducting clinical trials and research studies. You play a central role in the contact between study participants, doctors, other team members, and external partners such as pharmaceutical companies and other study actors.

Your tasks include, among other things, informing, recruiting, and following up with study participants according to current study protocols. You also perform various examinations and procedures related to the studies, such as ECG, blood pressure measurement, blood sampling, and administration of study medication.

As a Research Nurse, you contribute to good and safe care for the individuals participating in our research projects. You are also responsible for ensuring that collected data is correct, reliable, and handled according to current regulations, routines, and study protocols.

The work involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues in the team. Working hours at the clinic are weekdays during the day, but the position may involve two weekend shifts in inpatient care per five-week period.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Good knowledge of English is also important, as a large part of the work involves reading, understanding, and documenting according to English-language study protocols and guidelines. Experience with clinical trials, research work, or work within heart care is meritorious.
