The Gynecology and Breast Department at Helsingborg Hospital is a tightly knit unit providing both gynecological and obstetric care. We treat women of all ages, with a focus on acute gynecological conditions, acute and planned gynecological surgeries, as well as gynecological cancer. We have our own intake via our gynecological emergency clinic. On our ward, we also care for breast patients after planned surgery as part of cancer treatment, as well as in cases of postoperative complications.

We are now expanding our team with two new nurses/midwives. You will work together with other nurses, midwives, nursing assistants, and doctors. Together, we strive to provide the patient with the best possible care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse or midwife with us, you will work on a ward with almost exclusively female patients. You will perform standard tasks for a nurse or midwife on a care ward. We place great emphasis on putting patients first and providing the care that each unique patient needs. We have a nursing assistant who handles "My Plans" on weekdays, a coordinator who manages the flow on the ward, and a pharmacist who supports medication management.

At night, our gynecological emergency clinic is connected to the care ward. A nurse or midwife has primary responsibility for the gynecological emergency clinic, and there are two care teams on the ward. We help each other out based on the current workload.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or midwife with the eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Previous experience in gynecology, breast care, or emergency care is meritorious but not a requirement.

You are a calm and secure person with a genuine interest and commitment to caring for and providing high-quality care to all patients. As you meet patients at different stages of life, you also need the ability to show empathy, provide good treatment, and offer excellent nursing care. You thrive in a team environment and have good collaboration skills. Personal suitability will be given great weight.
