Are you ready for the next step in your career, combining meaningful work with balance, nature, and a high quality of life in one of Sweden’s most scenic southern regions?

About the role

As a cardiologist, you will play a key role in the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with cardiovascular conditions. You’ll work in close collaboration with colleagues from multiple disciplines in a healthcare setting that prioritizes quality, continuity, and professional development. Our partners include both larger regional hospitals and smaller clinics, offering stable teams and supportive environments.

Why this region of southern Sweden?

This coastal area offers a rare mix of natural beauty, accessibility, and well-being. Surrounded by sea, forests, and an island-dotted archipelago, you’ll enjoy short distances to everything you need – from schools and healthcare to cultural events and outdoor activities. Here, you get the benefits of a peaceful lifestyle without sacrificing development opportunities or modern services. It’s the perfect setting for professionals seeking both purpose and balance.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and attractive working conditions
  • Opportunities for academic involvement or research if desired
  • A workplace where your expertise is valued and your voice is heard
  • Dedicated recruitment support before, during, and after your placement

Requirements

  • EU-recognized specialist certification in cardiology
  • Strong communication skills in English and a willingness to learn Swedish
  • A team-oriented, proactive mindset and commitment to ongoing development

At Dignus Medical, we’ve been matching healthcare professionals with the right employers in Sweden and Norway since 2005. We’re committed to building long-term partnerships where both you and the healthcare providers thrive.
