Do you want to become part of a friendly team at Mama Mia BVC? We are a lovely, modern, and established Child Health Center (BVC). We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to join us in driving and developing our center. Our center is located in Malmö Västra Hamnen, but we work closely together with our sister center in central Malmö.
Mama Mia stands for welcoming all families, including being at the forefront in matters concerning HBTQI+ (LGBTQIA+).
Job Description
We work on behalf of Region Skåne with the national child health program. You work independently but always have a colleague nearby to collaborate with and discuss matters. The role of a BVC nurse is varied, involving everything from vaccinations, home visits, doctor's appointments, health and developmental assessments, and above all, support for parents during one of life's most important phases.
We have many exciting tasks within our child health mandate, including recently entering the "BarnSäkert" (Child Safe) project and working closely with our midwives at Mama Mia in the daily collaboration regarding our registered child families.
Qualifications
You must be a specialist-trained nurse, either as a Child and Adolescent Nurse or a District Nurse. Previous experience working at a BVC is meritorious. Great emphasis is placed on personality, personal attributes, and commitment to child health. For those working at BVC, continuous training is offered to strengthen your competence in child health.
We use PMO as our medical record system and work with both physical and digital visits through our app, Mama Mia Hemma. Understanding and being understood in Swedish and English is a requirement.
What We Offer
We are a modern center with many exciting projects underway. At our center, you have a say in shaping the workplace; we are all important, and together we drive the business forward. There is an opportunity to focus on your specific special interest within child health!
We are a workplace that offers both independent work and a sense of teamwork.
Employment and Application
We are looking for you who desire a permanent position with 100% working hours. We apply a probationary period of the first 6 months. Start date: September 1, 2026, or earlier by agreement; discussions regarding this are possible. Mama Mia has a collective agreement.
Apply now! Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact Operations Manager Susanne Brögger Filtenborg.
We value utilizing all competence in the labor market. We welcome all applicants and strive for diversity.
