We are currently seeking experienced psychiatrists for a well-regarded and specialized psychiatric clinic in southwestern Sweden. Whether you have a broad general psychiatric profile or a specific subspecialization, this position offers an stimulating environment where you can develop your skills and contribute to high-quality care.

About the clinic:

The adult psychiatric clinic offers a broad spectrum of psychiatric care, including inpatient care, a 24/7 emergency department, and general psychiatric outpatient services. The inpatient unit consists of four general psychiatric wards, as well as additional beds within forensic psychiatry, accompanied by outpatient activities. The clinic also has specialized units, such as:

  • Newly Ill in Psychosis (NIP)
  • Digital ADHD Clinic
  • Geriatric Psychiatry
  • Medication-Assisted Rehabilitation for Opioid Dependence (LARO)
  • Age-Independent Eating Disorder Care
  • Neuromodulation Treatments, including Brain Stimulation Unit

The clinic treats patients with all psychiatric diagnoses, making it a dynamic and developing workplace for both generalists and specialists.

Your role:

As a psychiatrist, you will be part of a dedicated team working to provide high-quality psychiatric care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, psychologists, nurses, and other professionals.
  • Mentoring of resident doctors (ST-doctors) and further training of colleagues.
  • Participation in the development of the clinic's treatment methods and care processes.

Requirements:

  • Swedish specialist certification in psychiatry.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in general psychiatry is required. Subspecialization is an advantage but not a requirement.
