We welcome you as a nursing assistant to our cozy dementia village, Månstorps Ängar.

In the role of nursing assistant at Forenede Care, you work to provide good care, service, and healthcare to our residents. Here, you make a difference every day while having fun at work. Together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, you help shape the future of elderly care. You will work closely with "Live Life" inspirers and specialist nursing assistants within dementia care.

Forenede Care operates Månstorps Ängar on behalf of Vellinge Municipality. The care and housing facility has a total of 56 resident spots, distributed across four units. The facility offers apartments for elderly people with cognitive impairment.

We are a Star-Rated facility, which means we work systematically with education in person-centered dementia care. When you start with us, you will participate in Star-Rated training, with the purpose of giving staff the knowledge and tools to develop person-centered work in the operations and create an even better daily life for our residents.

At Månstorps Ängar, we have large gardens for accessible outdoor activities, as well as good space for common activities or socializing. We have a retro shop, salon, sensory room, etc.

Månstorps Ängar is strategically located with short distances to both the train station and bus stop. For those who drive, there are free parking facilities right across the road.

In the role of nursing assistant, you work with care and support based on the customer's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You work, for example, with helping with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving meals cooked in our restaurant, answering alarms, and being there for social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work so that all our residents can live life, for life. This can range from talking, playing games, going on excursions, taking a bike ride, or coming up with some fun activity together. You also work with delegated tasks from licensed staff in the form of medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for two colleagues on a part-time basis. The employment level is 75%.

To be eligible for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

We also consider it meritorious if you have previous experience within elderly care and dementia care.

To thrive in the role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings, while also being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. Here, we work both in teams and independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you must show an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
