Technical Documentation Specialist at Aiab Energy
Aiab energy ABVästernorrlands län, Timrå
Previous experience is desired
Do you want to work with society-critical systems where your documentation actually makes a difference?
At Aiab, you will play a central role in ensuring that our backup power solutions work, not just in theory, but in reality when it really counts. We are now looking for a meticulous and pedagogical Technical Documentation Specialist who wants to help create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our systems, from installation to operation and maintenance.
Your Role
As a Technical Documentation Specialist at our company, you act as the link between technology and the user. You transform complex information into structured and accessible material that enables technicians, operations staff, and decision-makers to work safely, efficiently, and correctly.
The work involves creating and further developing technical documentation in the form of manuals, installation instructions, operating instructions, and maintenance materials. You are responsible for ensuring that the content maintains high quality and meets relevant standards and requirements, such as ISO, CE, and the Swedish Energy Agency's guidelines.
An important part of the role is the close collaboration with the business operations. You collect and quality-assure technical information together with installers, engineers, operations and service technicians, as well as project managers. At the same time, you structure documentation flows and ensure that materials are handled correctly throughout their entire lifecycle – from creation to version control and publication.
You adapt the documentation to the target audience's needs and contribute to projects with a clear user perspective, which also helps us develop both our working methods and our technical solutions. The role also involves translating technical content between Swedish and English when necessary, ensuring consistent terminology.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who thrive in a role where structure, clarity, and quality are at the center. You have good experience with technical documentation and a strong ability to understand complex technical contexts and make them understandable.
You are accustomed to working in document management systems and feel confident handling documents throughout their entire lifecycle. You also have an understanding of relevant standards and work systematically to ensure that documentation meets established requirements.
Since the role involves many contact points, you are a person who thrives in collaboration with others. You are communicative, receptive, and have a solution-oriented approach to work. You master both Swedish and English very well in speech and writing, and can switch between the languages with good terminological precision.
It is an advantage if you have experience from high-voltage electricity, industrial environments, or work with backup power systems.
Why Aiab Energy?
At our company, you work with solutions that are crucial for functioning societal infrastructure. You will have a varied role with significant personal responsibility, many contact points, and good opportunities to influence and further develop how we work with technical documentation.
We are a technology-driven company with a high focus on quality and safety, where we combine long experience with a strong commitment to improvement and development.
