The Social Services Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer interventions grounded in several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act of Support and Service to Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This may involve being present for young people and adults in vulnerable life situations.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to work closely with people and contribute to real change?

The Intimate Partner Violence Team works with individuals seeking support for experiences of violence in close relationships. We offer counseling to individuals who are or have been victims of violence, as well as support for those who wish to change violent behavior during conflicts or loss of control. Together with us, people can explore the consequences of violence and take steps toward change. Working with us means becoming part of a dedicated work group focused on professional interaction, collaboration, and development. You will primarily meet adults with experiences of intimate partner violence and support them in their change process. Your duties include conducting individual conversations and group activities, as well as some evening shifts.

Qualifications

You are a secure and empathetic person who finds it easy to build relationships. Your ability to collaborate contributes to effective cooperation models, while you are structured and meticulous in your approach. You are also proactive and have a solution-focused attitude, enabling you to contribute both to direct work and to the development of the operations. You are a social worker (socionom), or have other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have relevant experience in meeting people who have been exposed to intimate partner violence and can translate your psychosocial change work into practice in a professional manner. To thrive in this role, it is important that you have a curious and non-judgmental attitude and meet people with respect, courage, and clarity. You reflect on your professional role and can handle complex situations with a professional and secure interaction.

As a candidate, you must also have:

• A degree in Social Work (Socionom)
• Experience in treatment work within the field of intimate partner violence
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based methods
