Jula's Own Brand department works strategically and operationally with the development of Jula's own brands, with the goal of creating a positive overall experience for our customers. To our Own Brand department, we are now looking for a Technical Writer for a fixed-term position until January 20, 2027. You will be a key team player in the creation of Jula's technical information.

What you will do as a Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer, you contribute to our customers having a positive and safe experience with Jula's own products. You do this by creating technical documentation that clearly and understandably describes how the product should be installed, assembled, used, and maintained. In your role, you create a deeper understanding of the product, identify the legal requirements you need to adhere to, and analyze the customer's need for technical information within the relevant product area. You write clear and accurate texts, handle and refine illustrations, and send texts for translation to ultimately ensure that a finished user manual is available on Jula's website and in the customer's box.

What is in your CV?

You have a technical background or relevant education related to product development, product information, and/or technology. Experience working as a technical writer, technical author, technical information specialist, or in a similar role is advantageous. You have a strong interest in technology and in transforming technical information so that it becomes relevant and easy to understand. You have good knowledge of Adobe programs: InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat. Additionally, you have very good language skills and write fluently in both Swedish and English. Documented experience in Simplified Technical English (STE) is advantageous.

Good to know

The position is a full-time fixed-term contract until January 20, 2027, located at Jula's headquarters in Skara, but with some flexibility. Jula has a collective agreement with Unionen for white-collar workers.

The fixed-term position may be extended depending on circumstances at the end date.
