At Etteplan, we work with advanced technology in close collaboration with leading industrial companies. We are now looking for a Technical Writer/Technical Information Specialist for assignments within the defense sector and other technology-intensive areas.

We are looking for someone who is curious about how things work and thrives in the intersection between technology and communication. You enjoy talking to experts, asking questions, and transforming complex information into clear and useful instructions.

About the role

As a Technical Writer, you will become part of a team of technical information specialists and engineers who together create high-quality technical information for advanced products and systems.

You will:

• Create and quality-assure technical information
• Work systematically in a CMS
• Gather and process information from technical specialists
• Transform complex technology into clear instructions
• Work both on-site with the client and in teams with Etteplan colleagues

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is curious and driven by a desire to understand how things fit together. You work systematically and meticulously, and have a natural ability to build trust in dialogue with technical experts. You have an interest and education in technical information and some or several years of experience as a technical writer or technical information specialist.

To succeed in the role, you should have:

• Experience with structured information and CMS
• Experience working with DITA, XML, or similar systems is preferred
• A strong interest in technology, preferably linked to mechanics, maintenance, or production
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have experience from:

• Defense industry or safety-critical systems
• S1000D or STE
• ILS or maintenance-related work
