Do you want to work close to advanced technology and contribute to making complex products safe, understandable, and usable?

AFRY's business segment Technical Communication is growing, and we are now looking for a new colleague. Here, you will work together with engineers and experts in technically challenging assignments for some of Sweden's most exciting technology companies. As a Technical Information Specialist, you are responsible for producing, updating, and quality-assuring technical documentation for advanced products and systems.

Qualifications

We believe you are analytical, curious, and structured. You enjoy understanding how things work and thrive at the interface between technology and communication. You are confident in dialogue with technical subject matter experts and can drive information gathering until you have the material required to create high-quality documentation. Understanding customer needs and focusing on solving their challenges is a natural part of your daily work.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least three years of experience in technical information
• Experience working in XML-based systems
• Experience structuring information into standalone and reusable topics
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

• An engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
• Experience from the automotive or defense industry
• Experience with Simplified Technical English (STE)
• Knowledge of S1000D

Security Clearance and Education Verification

Since we often work within security-classified assignments, this position may require a security clearance and register check before employment.
