What you will do with us
As a Development Chemist, you will play a central role in developing, improving, and implementing analysis methods, as well as contributing to overall business development. You will work closely with the laboratory and other parts of the organization, bringing both specialist knowledge and a structured approach to drive development forward – both methodologically and process-wise.
Your main responsibilities include:
- working with method development in analytical chemistry
- developing, adapting, and improving wet chemical, molecular biological, or chromatographic analysis methods
- being responsible for or participating in the validation and verification of analysis methods
- supporting the business during the implementation of new or updated methods
- collaborating closely with laboratory operations and other internal functions to ensure methods work in practice
- contributing to identifying needs for new or changed methods, ways of working, and processes based on business requirements and development
- preparing decision-making materials, including cost calculations and impact analyses prior to method or process changes
- sharing your knowledge and contributing to dialogue, training, and support for colleagues in the business

Who are you?
We are looking for you who have an academic education in natural sciences, chemistry, or are a chemical engineer. You have experience in analytical laboratory work and feel confident working with the development, improvement, and quality assurance of analysis methods.
We would like you to have:
- knowledge of wet chemical, molecular biological, or chromatographic analysis methods
- experience in method development
- experience in validation or verification of analysis methods
- good structure and a quality-conscious approach to work
- good problem-solving skills
- a communicative disposition and the ability to create good dialogue with the business
- good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
As a person, you are self-reliant, analytical, and solution-oriented. You thrive when taking responsibility, working in a structured manner, and turning ideas into practical solutions. You find it easy to collaborate, build trust, and communicate with different parts of the business.
