What we do and want

Njupkärr School is a preschool to year 6 school (F-6) with approximately 250 students. We at Njupkärr School strive to create a learning environment where all our students are given the conditions to succeed through high expectations, involvement, and care. We achieve this through close collaboration in year-level teams, as well as through a well-functioning student health team and an engaged school leadership.

"All children do right if they can" is an approach that permeates our operations.

In the summer of 2027, we will move into the New Njupkärr School – a newly built, modern school with excellent conditions for future learning.

The school is within walking distance of Tyresö Centre, as well as forests and swimming areas. Transport connections are good to, among other places, Nacka, Haninge, and Stockholm.

About the position

To the student health team at Njupkärr School, we are now looking for a special needs teacher (100%) for teaching in Swedish and mathematics in grades F-6.

You will have close collaboration with educators in your year-level teams and with other special needs teachers at the school.

You will be part of a work team consisting of competent and engaged educators with long experience – educators who want to make a difference for our students every day. Our goal is to create a safe and predictable environment for our students, where they will get the right conditions to develop to their full potential.

Who are you?

You are a certified special needs teacher for grades F-6 with qualifications in mathematics and Swedish. You have good competence in reading and writing acquisition for grades F-3, as well as competence and experience in working with students with multifaceted difficulties.

You have good IT competence and experience with various reading and writing programs. It is desirable that you have used Prorenata to document special support and that you are qualified in Swedish as a Second Language for grades F-6.

You are a natural leader in the classroom and have good pedagogical skills. Naturally, you have a positive approach and meet students, guardians, and colleagues with competence and warmth. You are secure in your role as a teacher, have a high work ethic, and are driven to develop your teaching. Together with your colleagues, you want to develop our school.
