Schedevi Psychiatry is a privately owned company that has been offering quality support, 24-hour care, and housing for adults since 1942, in accordance with the Social Services Act and the Support and Service Act. Business Description
The operations in Essunga consist of three units: Short-term Care, Rågvägen, and Nursing Psychiatry. We are a wonderful team with broad and deep competence in psychiatric and somatic care, working together and with a clear focus on sustainable development for both our clients and our work environment. Our team consists of assistant nurses, residential support workers, behavioral scientists, educators, nurses, doctors, and physiotherapists. Together, we work to make a difference for our clients.
Job Responsibilities
As a residential support worker with us, your tasks include:
- Providing pedagogical and psychosocial support to adults with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
- Strengthening the individual's ability to be independent and participate in daily life.
- Working with structure, motivation, and social training.
- Collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and external actors such as psychiatry and authorities, while actively promoting health, movement, and good living habits.
- Documenting according to current legislation and the organization's routines.
In this position, we are particularly looking for someone who enjoys working with health-promoting initiatives, such as physical activity and healthy habits. The work involves day, evening, and weekend shifts depending on the needs of the operation. Experience in nutrition/health/training or equivalent health-promoting work is a significant plus.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Have some form of education within healthcare and social services and/or pedagogy.
- Have experience working in adult psychiatry.
- Have a good ability to build trusting relationships.
- Are secure, responsible, and solution-focused.
- Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).
Meritorious qualifications include experience in addiction care, low-affective handling, MI (Motivational Interviewing), and documentation experience.
