Your future challenge

We are now looking for an experienced Engineer to join the Armament and Fire Control Systems unit. The unit consists of 14 experienced employees and a number of consultants.

As an Engineer specializing in weapon systems, you will have a free and independent role with great opportunities to express your creativity in design. You will also have the chance to develop into an expert in the field, and you will receive the support you need to succeed!

Your main area of responsibility will be weapon and ammunition systems for the CV90 and tracked vehicle platforms. You will play a key role in the development and design of new systems, as well as in modifying our existing systems. A large part of the work will be carried out in the 3D CAD program Catia v5.

The role also involves conducting interesting analyses and checks, as well as participating in testing and verification processes.

The development of our vehicles always takes place in close collaboration with the customer. Therefore, the work also includes adapting the systems to meet both our customers' requirements and our internal standards.

You will have many contact areas in this role. With your specialist knowledge, you will support the systems department in developing conceptual design, and when the systems are to be installed, you will be on-site in production and/or with the customer.

Reporting is done to the Unit Manager. The daily work is project-based, so in these projects, you will report to the Team Leader or Sub-project Manager.

About you

We are looking for someone with a creative streak and an interest and desire to become an expert in the field.

We believe you are educated as a Mechanical Engineer or have equivalent practical experience. Meritorious is a few years of experience in mechanical design work, but we also welcome recent graduates if you have the right motivation and drive.

You have good knowledge of 3D CAD.

Good Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written, are required.

A background in the military is considered meritorious.
