We are now looking for a Senior Configuration Manager who wants to work in an advanced technical environment with our client in the defense industry. Here, you will play a key role in ensuring order, traceability, and quality in business-critical systems and configurations.

What you will do

In the role of Senior Configuration Manager with our client, you will be responsible for establishing, developing, and managing methods and processes for configuration management in complex IT and system environments.

You will among other things:

• Be responsible for configuration management in technically advanced and distributed systems
• Ensure traceability, version control, and oversight of system components
• Develop and improve processes, routines, and methods within configuration management
• Support technical teams with questions related to change management and release processes
• Ensure compliance with internal requirements, standards, and security requirements
• Work closely with system engineers, development teams, and architects in technical environments

The position is located in Lund. Travel within Sweden and internationally may occur.

We would like you to have

• Experience with configuration management in complex IT or system environments
• Experience with change management, release management, or version control at the system level
• A good understanding of IT infrastructure, system architecture, or technical platforms
• Experience with tools and methods related to configuration management
• Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal

Meritorious

• Experience from defense, industrial, or security-critical environments
• Knowledge within DevOps, CI/CD, or automated delivery flows
• Experience with ITIL or similar frameworks
• Experience with tools such as Git or other CM solutions

The position is security classified and subject to a security check according to the Security Protection Act. To be considered for the role, a passed security check is required. The role also requires Swedish citizenship.
