IT Strategist at Skånes Kommuner
Skånes Kommuner is the joint membership organization for Skåne's 33 municipalities. Our mission is to promote municipal cooperation, create value for our members, and serve as a voice in relation to the region and the state. At our organization, you work in a politically governed body where the board consists of elected officials from our member municipalities.
We are now looking for an IT Strategist with a focus on ensuring stable, secure, and long-term sustainable management and development of Skånes Kommuner's shared digital services, systems, and technical environments. Do you have several years of experience in IT leadership and system administration? Do you have the ability to combine strategic and operational work and are accustomed to working in the interface between IT, business operations, and suppliers? Do you want to take responsibility for the overall management of the organization's IT and digital environments? Then this role might be for you.

Job Responsibilities
As an IT Strategist with us, you will be responsible for the organization's overarching IT and the function area of digital services. You will provide strategic support to management and operations regarding IT matters, as well as to colleagues in contact and relations with external IT suppliers and partners. Together with other relevant functions, you will manage and develop the organization's internal IT and also participate in the development and coordination of the systems used by Skåne's 33 municipalities via Skånes Kommuner.
You will serve as a central link between technology and operations, meaning you will work closely with your colleagues, such as service managers, strategists, quality handlers, and procurement officers. The role involves a wide variety of tasks, ranging from strategic issues regarding the development, management, and prioritization of systems and integrations, to ensuring stable operations, continuity, and technical sustainability.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in IT and digitalization who wants to work in a role where both strategic and operational work are combined. You are accustomed to working in a structured and communicative manner and have the ability to translate business needs into functional digital solutions. You have good technical knowledge and are confident in working closely with users and suppliers to ensure quality and utility.
Qualifications:
- Relevant post-secondary education
- Several years of experience in IT leadership and system administration
- Experience with complex system environments and integrations
- Good understanding of information security and the public sector
- Experience in supplier management and procurement
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience from municipal operations or collaborative organizations.
