Your responsibilities

For our client, we are currently looking for an IT Systems Engineer who wants to develop and manage advanced IT systems for business-critical environments. The role involves working with IT solutions in complex and distributed systems where security, availability, and performance are in focus.

You will collaborate closely with system engineers, developers, and other technical specialists to ensure that the systems meet both technical and operational requirements.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Design, develop, and verify IT systems and infrastructure
• Implement solutions through scripting, automation, and system configuration
• Analyze and review technical solutions and system architecture
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as design descriptions, instructions, and policies
• Integrate both in-house and external systems into larger technical environments
• Continuously work on improving system performance, stability, and manageability

The location is in Lund, and the work will primarily take place on-site at the office. Travel within Sweden and internationally may occur.

We would like you to have

• A university degree in IT, system development, computer science, or equivalent work experience
• Several years of work experience with IT systems, system development, and/or infrastructure solutions
• Work experience and good knowledge in several of the following areas:
  • Git
  • Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages
  • Linux and/or Windows
  • Virtualization, e.g., KVM or Hyper-V
  • Infrastructure as Code, e.g., Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet
  • Microsoft Active Directory
• Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience with system architecture or technical design
• Knowledge in DevOps or DevSecOps
• Experience from product development activities
• Experience with complex and distributed system environments

The position is security-classified and subject to a security check according to the Security Protection Act. A passed security check is required for employment. The role also requires Swedish citizenship.
