We are now looking for an embedded developer who wants to work with a complex and long-lived system where stability, security, and predictability are at the center. This role is suitable for you if you thrive close to the hardware and want to contribute to both the maintenance and controlled modernization of an existing platform.

You will be part of a small team working on an integrated system where hardware, embedded software, and user interfaces interact. The work involves both ongoing development and a long-term technical shift towards a more modern platform.

Initially, the focus will be on familiarizing yourself with the architecture, system logic, and technical components. In the long run, you will take greater responsibility for various parts of the platform and contribute to development, structure, and continuity.

Examples of tasks:

• Development and maintenance of embedded software in C/C++
• Hardware-near programming (drivers, I/O, interrupts, timing)
• Work in real-time environments with high demands for stability
• Further development of the system's user interface
• Integration with external devices and systems
• Participation in design and architecture issues
• Documentation and knowledge transfer
• Participation in an upcoming technical shift to a Linux-based platform

To fit the role, you should have:

• Experience with embedded development in C/C++
• Experience with hardware-near development
• Understanding of systems where stability and determinism are central
• Interest in products with long lifespans and clear technical structure

Meritorious:

• Experience with real-time environments
• Experience with Linux for embedded systems, Yocto, or similar
• Experience with UI development for embedded devices
• Knowledge of security, certificates, or encryption
• Experience with migration projects between different platforms

Additionally, you should appreciate stability, long-term perspective, and technically deep systems. You value understanding the big picture, work in a structured manner, and thrive in environments where quality and predictability weigh heavier than rapid technology shifts.
