This autumn, we open the doors to our new site for the manufacturing of cables, units, microwave units, antenna mounting, final assembly, system testing, and control of delivery products for our various radar systems.

Your Role

You will be part of the Production Development Management Team, where your primary responsibility is to lead and drive a group within production technology. You will provide guidance, coaching, and training to ensure a competent and motivated organization.

You and your team will collaborate with production units, the design department, sub-project managers, and other functions within production. You will also work cross-functionally with operations, quality, and R&D to develop new products and improve existing ones, focusing on manufacturability and cost-efficiency.

The role also involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability principles into business processes, products, and services, with the aim of reducing the organization's environmental impact and promoting sustainability.

• Coaching teams towards set goals and strategies
• Developing employee competence and ensuring a good working environment within the unit
• Ensuring that set goals are achieved within your area of responsibility, including economy, quality, delivery capacity, and efficiency
• Leading in accordance with the organization's values
• Making and handling daily operational decisions

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Production Technology Manager to lead one of our two groups in this area. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading strategies and processes within production technology to ensure efficient and cost-effective production flows, while maintaining product quality and safety requirements.

We believe you thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you drive change and adapt to new conditions and requirements.

We also see that you have:

• Relevant university or civil engineering education, for example in production technology, industrial economics, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Experience in leading and coaching teams
• A strong focus on keeping your promises
• Good experience within the business area, including production strategy, production processes, and production flows
• Experience working in an international and multicultural environment
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational execution
• Personal drive in leadership, creativity, and positive energy

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
