We are currently looking for a teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year, employed at 100%, for our school beautifully located in Persberg next to Lake Yngen. The school has operated as a parent cooperative since a threat of closure was averted more than 20 years ago. We work on a small scale with integrated classes of approximately 17 students. We have our own kitchen and prepare all meals on-site. The school also offers after-school activities and a preschool.

The ideal candidate is a certified teacher with authorization to teach grades 4–6. Previous experience working in primary school is advantageous. As a teacher at Persberg School, we value someone who is independent, solution-focused, positive, and responsible. You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching, adapting to individual student needs as necessary. The role involves thorough documentation of students' knowledge development and active work on core values in collaboration with colleagues. Based on current curricula, you will work to ensure that all students develop to the fullest extent possible.

You have an inclusive approach and contribute to a strong sense of community, both among students and within the team. Since you will become part of a small collegium, flexibility and a solution-oriented mindset are essential in our organizational structure. In your interactions with students, you are calm, confident, and patient, maintaining a low-affective approach. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
