RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to us at Östra Torpskolan! We are a two-stream school from preschool class up to year six. Approximately 265 students attend the school. We have a large, lovely schoolyard with great opportunities, and everything at the school is gathered under one roof, such as a sports hall, cafeteria, and craft rooms.

As a preschool class teacher, you have the important task of laying the foundation for each student's future. You follow the students in their first steps into the school world and create security, curiosity, and a desire to learn.

Teaching takes place with a clear structure and high expectations where students succeed together. We have an inclusive approach where everyone is given the opportunity to reach their best self.

Work is carried out in work teams where you jointly plan, implement, and develop teaching based on current regulatory documents.

Good, trust-based relationships are a natural part of the assignment, and collaboration with colleagues and guardians contributes to creating a secure and successful school start for our students. To create a red thread to the leisure center, you work one afternoon a week at the leisure center for the preschool class, i.e., the same children you have worked with during school hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are educated and licensed as a teacher for preschool class or grades F-3.

You are driven by awakening curiosity and strengthening students' desire to learn, with a clear conviction that all students can develop with the right support and high expectations. The work is characterized by structure, clear goals, and good leadership that creates a secure and inclusive learning environment.

You have a good understanding of students' learning in the early years and adapt teaching based on the students' needs. Collaboration is a natural part of your working style, as is the willingness to contribute to the school's joint development and to create trust-based relationships with students and guardians.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-09-01, end date: 2027-06-18.
Working hours: Daytime.
