Jämjö Knowledge Centre is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) located in a nature-rich environment in Jämjö. The school has approximately 640 students, including 300 in the lower secondary school. Work at JKC is based on close collaboration between all staff in our various professions to maintain a holistic view of the students and support them in their development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to make a difference every day and be part of a dedicated team? We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications in Spanish for grades 6 to 9!

We are looking for you who are receptive, flexible, and have strong collaboration skills. You work purposefully based on the national curriculum documents and adapt the teaching to the students' needs and prerequisites.

As a teacher, you have a central role in developing teaching by using varied working methods. You are expected to integrate digital tools as a natural part of your teaching to create a modern and engaging learning environment. An important part of your work is to establish a safe and good study environment in the classroom, where students feel secure and motivated to learn. You will also actively work on building strong professional relationships with students, guardians, and your colleagues to promote a positive and collaborative atmosphere at the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Have teacher certification with qualifications in Spanish for grades 6 to 9
• Have clear leadership in the classroom and create safety and structure
• Plan teaching that is varied, clear, and student-centered
• Enjoy working in a team and see the strength in common goals
• Are communicative, clear, and good at creating and maintaining relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• Have a professional approach and a desire to constantly develop in your role
