About the Workplace
Fågelmara School is a grades 1-6 school with approximately 110 students, of whom about 60 are enrolled in the after-school center (fritidshem). The school is located in a beautiful natural setting in the eastern part of the municipality. It is a school where we all strive to give every student the best opportunities to succeed in their education, both socially and academically. Our motto is "Become your best self".
Fågelmara School's mission is to make the activities accessible to all students from a salutogenic perspective. Our guiding principle is KANT: Knowledge, Responsibility, Curiosity, Safety.
The after-school center has its own premises and a courtyard.
Responsibilities
As a teacher in the after-school center, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing the activities in accordance with the Education Act and the curriculum. The role aims to complement the school's education by offering students a meaningful leisure time that promotes learning, safety, social development, and well-being.
Qualifications
- Licensed teacher with a specialization in after-school education (fritidshem).
- Good knowledge of the after-school center's regulatory documents and mission.
- Ability to build good relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians.
- Ability to plan and organize your work, adapt to changes, and handle challenges to achieve results and set goals.
- A self-starter who seeks new challenges, gets things done, and initiates activities and projects.
- Skilled at creating and strengthening internal and external collaborations, as well as building new relationships and maintaining existing ones.
- Thrives in team environments and strives for common goals. It is natural for you to compromise and share information and knowledge.
Employment Details
Start Date: September 20th or by agreement. (Please note that feedback may be provided from week 32 due to holiday periods).
Type of Employment: Permanent position.
Working Hours: Daytime.
