Job Description

1 position(s).

As a vocational teacher in the Child and Youth Programme, you will teach courses such as activity leadership, special needs pedagogy, and pedagogy. You are expected to have good skills in building relationships and easily creating safe and positive relationships with students.

You will be part of a programme working group and are expected to have good collaboration skills, able to work both independently and in teams.

You are expected to be engaged, flexible, and have a genuine interest in the development and learning of children and students, as well as a professional and secure approach in interactions with students, guardians, and colleagues.

On the programme, we work extensively outside of school with the students, so you need to have a B driving license to drive the school buses. The position also includes visiting and following up on students who are on APL (workplace-based learning), as well as maintaining continuous contact with students and supervisors during their APL period.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • Have professional experience from working in after-school centers, preschools, or compulsory schools
  • Have a pedagogical university degree
  • Have good pedagogical skills and can adapt teaching to students' needs
  • Are structured, responsible, and have a solution-focused approach to work
  • Have a B driving license
  • Are engaged and want to contribute to students' development and future

It is meritorious if you have experience teaching at the upper secondary level and experience working with APL.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
