The Department of Health (TIHA) is one of six departments within the Faculty of Technology Sciences. The department conducts research and education in health, care, and welfare with the aim of preventing disease, extending life, and promoting health from the perspectives of citizens, patients, and healthcare personnel. In our operations, research and clinical practice are integrated with technical knowledge to promote a good life. Job Description

TIHA offers programs at the undergraduate and specialist nurse levels, at the doctoral level, as well as custom courses. We are now seeking a University Lecturer. The position includes theoretical and practical teaching in nursing science and medical science. Duties include assessments in practice-based education (VFU) and clinical skills training at the department's Clinical Training Center (KTC), as well as lectures, examinations, seminars, and workshops. Teaching takes place on campus, in clinical settings, and online, primarily in Swedish. Teaching in English may also occur.

Qualifications

To be eligible for appointment as a University Lecturer, you must have:

• Completed a university degree of at least 180 higher education credits, or equivalent competence, or other skills that are significant considering the subject content and duties of the position.
• Demonstrated pedagogical skill.

Specific Requirements for this Position

• Swedish nursing license (legitimation).
• Master's degree in nursing science/health care science or equivalent.

Meritorious Competencies and Experience

In addition to the requirements outlined in the job description and eligibility criteria, the following are considered meritorious:

• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Specialist nurse education in emergency care, ambulance care, intensive care, anesthetic care, or perioperative care.
• Supervisor training.
• Good knowledge of English.

Extent of Employment: 100 %.

Start Date: 2026-09-01 or as agreed.

Duration: Fixed-term appointment, six months.
