Parkdala Preschool is located in Ronneby center, near both bus and train connections, Brunnsparken, and the forest. We have four departments where the children are largely divided into age-homogeneous groups. We are certified with the Green Flag and work with sustainable development in projects where the children's questions and inquiry are at the center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preschool teacher, you, together with the work team, are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, following up, and developing teaching in accordance with the preschool curriculum.

Our vision is that the preschool should be the children's arena where we develop together and create new knowledge, where the children's right to participate in a hopeful and sustainable future is the foundation of the democratic work that guides us in the preschools.

This means that you utilize children's experiences, questions, and initiatives as a starting point for teaching. You work to ensure that children are given real opportunities for participation and influence in the education, and you contribute to developing a working method where exploration, communication, and meaning-making are at the center.

You contribute to designing accessible, inclusive, stimulating, and exploratory learning environments that enable children's different ways of expressing themselves and participating in joint learning processes. In teaching, different knowledge areas and perspectives are integrated to create context and deeper understanding.

The role includes leading and developing teaching, working with pedagogical documentation as a basis for analysis and further development, and actively contributing to systematic quality work. You collaborate with colleagues and guardians and participate in collegial learning to strengthen the quality and equity of education.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You are a licensed preschool teacher. Applicants with other pedagogical education that the employer deems equivalent may also be considered for fixed-term appointments.
• You have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
• You have good knowledge of the preschool curriculum and mission, as well as the ability to translate this into teaching.
• You use digital tools in teaching in a conscious and professional way to document, communicate, and deepen and broaden the teaching.
• You use pedagogical documentation as a tool in planning, implementation, follow-up, and analysis of teaching, where children's experiences, questions, and interests are taken into account.
• You collaborate with children, colleagues, and guardians in a professional and respectful manner and work for children's participation and influence in teaching.
• You create trusting relationships and meet children and adults with sensitivity and respect.
• You actively contribute to the work team and participate in collegial learning to develop teaching.
• You plan, implement, and develop teaching and create conditions for children's exploration, communication, and meaning-making. You have experience in developing learning environments as well as project-oriented or exploratory working methods.
• You take responsibility for the quality of teaching and actively contribute to the development of the operations.
• You reflect on and analyze teaching and develop it based on children's experiences, questions, and interests.
• You have experience in communicating and creating conditions for dialogue, participation, and joint meaning-making. You also have experience in pedagogical documentation and systematic quality work.
• Experience working as a preschool teacher.
• You have experience in language-promoting working methods and knowledge about education for sustainable development.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
