Rosenfeldt School – in the heart of the city

Rosenfeldt School is located "in the middle of the city" on Trossö, with the World Heritage Site right on its doorstep. Approximately 180 students attend the school, from preschool class to grade 6. The after-school center (fritidshem) consists of two departments: one for students in preschool class to grade 2, and "The Club" for grades 3 to 6.

Our goal is for all students to feel joy, inspiration, and security in our various learning environments. Community and social interaction are the foundation for well-being, development, and learning in the after-school center. Collaboration and professional dialogue among all staff provide the prerequisites for quality in operations. We have a high proportion of qualified teachers and a strong commitment to students' learning and health.

Responsibilities

An After-School Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and developing education at the after-school center in accordance with the Education Act and the curriculum. Together with colleagues, you create meaningful leisure time for students with both planned and spontaneous activities. You encourage and stimulate students' creativity and trust in their own abilities. Supervising recess activities is a priority area, as is language-developing approaches and clarifying pedagogy as an attitude.

The role includes teaching physical education (PE) in the younger grades.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a license as an After-School Teacher. We would prefer that you have qualifications with a focus on physical education.

You have good knowledge of the after-school center's governing documents and systematic quality work. You have the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You can plan and organize work independently and together with others. You can adapt to changes and find solutions to achieve set goals. You are open to others' perspectives and share your knowledge and experience.
