About Lillhagen and Our Operations

In the Lillhagen principal area, we work based on prioritized goals in Knowledge, Values, and Student Health. We are supported by several lead teachers who work across the area with all staff at regular conferences and study days. High expectations for both students and staff permeate our operations. We work with collegial learning and systematic analysis and evaluation of our teaching so that both students and staff get the best opportunities for development.

Lillhagsskolan has a well-functioning student health team consisting of a school counselor, school nurse, special needs educator, special needs teacher, and assistant principal. The secondary school (grades 7-9) consists of four parallel classes with approximately 360 students and over 50 employees, located in "The White House" (Det Vita huset).

About the Position

We are now looking for an engaged teacher in Mathematics and Natural Sciences for grades 7-9 who wants to help develop a safe, varied, and inspiring school day where every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Responsibilities

As a teacher for grades 7-9 in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, you will work with teaching, have class responsibility, and be responsible for mapping, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons. The work is carried out according to established goals and guidelines. You work together with colleagues to create an inspiring, varied, and joyful school day where students' learning and well-being are in focus.

Your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching in grades 7-9 according to the current curriculum.
• Class responsibility.
• Mapping, planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching.
• Challenging and supporting students so they achieve good academic results, adapting your teaching to the needs and prerequisites of all students.
• Collaborating with other teachers, guardians, and the school's combined student health services.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A teacher's degree and teacher certification with eligibility to teach in grades 7-9 in the subjects Mathematics (MA) and Natural Sciences (NO).
• Good knowledge of the compulsory school curriculum.
• Experience working with digital tools, for example documentation in Unikum or Office 365.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• The ability to lead, motivate, and inspire students, helping them develop and feel good. You are good at creating open dialogue and adapting your actions based on the current situation.
• Interpersonal skills, taking initiative in social contexts, and the ability to build trust in your professional relationships.
• A non-hierarchical approach in your collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians.
• The ability to plan and organize your work. You are good at setting goals, organizing resources, and following up and concluding activities.

Employment Information

• Type of Employment: Permanent position.
• Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-10 (or by agreement).
• Working Hours: Daytime.
