Sjöstaden is beautifully located in Limhamn's waterfront district, a stone's throw from the sea and close to Ribersborg's lovely green areas. The residence consists of 73 modern apartments with a shared garden. At Sjöstaden, we have eight departments, four of which focus on elderly care for people with dementia diagnoses. You can easily reach us by public transport as there is a bus stop nearby.

As a nursing assistant in the resource group, you will work on a fixed schedule (day/evening and weekends). You will work across all departments within the section.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, your role involves providing care, service, and support to residents. We are looking for someone who is responsible and solution-focused. You are also flexible and have the ability to reprioritize and handle rapid changes.

We value your high level of empathy and your strong commitment to the well-being and dignity of elderly people. Taking care of residents' diverse needs and opportunities is second nature to you. It is important that you have a professional and respectful attitude, as well as the ability to create a sense of security and calm even in stressful situations. You have a positive attitude and contribute to a good work climate to promote effective collaboration.

The work requires medical nursing tasks delegated by a registered nurse. You will also collaborate with other professions and maintain continuous contact with relatives. Documentation in the LifeCare system is also part of the job.

Qualifications

We are looking for a trained nursing assistant with experience in care work. You have good experience with documentation and express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with people with dementia and experience using IT tools such as LifeCare, Flexite, and Senior Alert, as well as being accustomed to performing medical tasks according to delegation.

The job requires the ability to work independently as well as collaborate well with your colleagues and other people involved in the resident's care. You have a good attitude and encourage and support the resident's own abilities.
