Your Role

Do you want to inspire children and young people to discover and develop their skills in visual arts? Do you specialize in visual arts and wish to become part of a creative and dedicated cultural school operation? Do you have competence and/or experience in other cultural school subjects? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

The role also involves collaborating with colleagues on events, projects, and other joint activities.

Collaboration also takes place with other operations and school forms within the municipality.

Teaching is conducted in groups. You plan, inspire, engage, and challenge students based on their different prerequisites and goals. The work is carried out during the day and some evenings. Weekend work may occur.

The Cultural School in Söderhamn is a creative meeting place where children and young people have the opportunity to develop their artistic expressions in their leisure time. We work to create an accessible, inspiring, and meaningful activity for the municipality's children and youth.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are engaged, creative, receptive, flexible, and responsible. Able to teach in groups. Has relevant education/experience.

Merits

Experience of teaching or other pedagogical work with children and young people is an asset. Competence in several cultural school subjects is an asset.

We would appreciate if you have good knowledge of Swedish.

A B driver's license is required for the position.
