Qualifications

Kåbo Ängar Preschool is looking for a positive, engaged, and qualified preschool teacher (barnskötare) with experience working in a preschool setting. You should be well-versed in the preschool's guiding documents and eager to engage in pedagogical discussions. You are goal-oriented in translating the preschool curriculum goals into practice, and you are knowledgeable about documenting children's learning processes.

Experience with TAKK (Total Communication) and Unikum is considered a merit.

Kåbo Ängar Preschool is located in the city center, close to Stadsskogen, the Botanical Garden, and Kronåsen. In addition to our yard, we are just a few steps away from the restored Batteriparken (Dinosaur Park).

Inside, you will find bright and spacious premises where we design inspiring and exploratory educational environments based on the children's interests, curiosity, prerequisites, and needs. Our environments are dynamic, aiming to inspire the children in their play and learning.

At Kåbo Ängar Preschool, we use the documentation tool Unikum.

Your Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues, you, as a preschool teacher, are responsible for the pedagogical education. You plan, implement, document, and follow up on teaching according to decided goals and guidelines. You contribute to establishing value-based work and creating an environment where everyone feels included. You document the individual child's development and group processes in the Unikum documentation tool.

This position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of the first 6 months. Start date by agreement. The selection process begins immediately, with interviews conducted on an ongoing basis.
