Stattutgatan Elderly Care Home is located in Dalvik, Jönköping, and consists of 70 apartments distributed across six units. The facility includes four somatic units, one dementia unit, and one social psychiatry unit. Seventy dedicated employees work at the home. The operations are led by three unit managers who share leadership responsibilities and are present in daily operations, creating good conditions for collaboration and support in everyday work.

Your new job

As a Specialist Nursing Assistant, you base your work on the national values of elderly care and contribute your advanced knowledge. Through a person-centered approach, you create conditions for increased security, safety, and quality of life for the individual.

In this role, you work closely with the unit manager and are responsible for planning, driving, and developing work both within the unit and in collaboration with other operations. The role is new to the unit, meaning that content and working methods will develop over time. You will therefore have the opportunity to participate in shaping parts of the assignment and developing how specialist competence is utilized in the operations.

You play a key role in the operations, supporting colleagues through supervision and knowledge sharing. The position also involves handling complex cases, assisting with symptom assessment, identifying risks, creating action plans, and following up on measures.

You also work with documentation according to HSL (Health and Medical Services Act) and SoL (Social Services Act), implementation plans, deviation management, and systematic improvement work. As a Specialist Nursing Assistant, you are a key knowledge carrier in the operations. You help introduce new employees, supervise students, and contribute to development initiatives, quality work, and improved working methods.

The assignment is combined with standard nursing assistant duties and involves close collaboration with colleagues, relatives, and other professions. You contribute to a positive, inclusive, and developmental work environment. As a Specialist Nursing Assistant, you will work on a standard schedule.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a Specialist Nursing Assistant with at least 200 higher vocational education credits. You are a Nursing Assistant with a protected professional title and have at least three years of experience working in specialized housing for the elderly. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good digital competence.

To succeed in the assignment, you are confident in your professional role and have the ability to use your specialist competence to guide others. You are responsible, structured, and proactive, while also being flexible and collaborative. We see that you have a strong interest in development and improvement work and wish to contribute to high-quality care and social services. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Good to know

The recruitment is for a permanent full-time position with start date as agreed. Working hours are scheduled during day and evening times, both weekdays and weekends.
