We are now looking for a Trade & Transportation Administrator for an exciting assignment.

Job Description

The role is responsible for ensuring that goods are received and shipped efficiently, while meeting requirements for quality, legislation, and cost. You will develop, maintain, and improve transport and documentation processes to optimize inbound and outbound logistics flows, as well as ensure deliveries to both external and internal customers.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and follow up on transport-related activities within the local operations to ensure high quality in transport processes.
• Create and manage necessary transport documentation and ensure that the documentation is complete and correct.
• Be responsible for operational cooperation with transport suppliers and implement transport-related plans and processes.
• Review and approve transport invoices and ensure correct cost allocation and cost tracking.
• Optimize transport solutions by choosing the most effective mode of transport and applying consolidation strategies where appropriate.
• Contribute to the entire logistics flow – from transport and forwarding to warehouse management – in close cooperation with functions such as production, planning, and purchasing to streamline the total supply chain.
• Archive transport documentation in accordance with internal guidelines and current legal requirements.
• Participate in the continuous improvement work within the transport operations to increase efficiency and quality.
• Support the Trade & Transportation Manager in handling issues and deviations related to logistics suppliers, such as delivery quality, claims, and damage cases.
• Support the Trade & Transportation Manager in regular supplier follow-ups (e.g., monthly meetings) and follow up on agreed actions.
• Implement improved processes and systems for efficient transport flows and maintain relevant master data.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with TMS systems (Transport Management Systems), preferably nShift.
• Good product knowledge and understanding of logistics and transport processes.
• Hold valid certifications for the transport of dangerous goods according to ADR, IMDG, and IATA.
• Have a good understanding of health, safety, and environment (HSE), including the application of HSE principles, reporting, and risk management.
