Your new role
Are you an experienced economist or controller who thrives in an advisory role where you can combine analysis, budget work, and operational dialogue? We are now looking for a consultant for an exciting and long-term assignment with a government agency.
In this role, you will become an important part of the finance department, supporting and strengthening existing controllers in their daily work. You will work independently on qualified economic analyses while maintaining close dialogue with business managers regarding budgets and financial follow-ups.
In the assignment, you will among other things:
- Support and relieve the agency's controllers in the ongoing financial work.
- Conduct economic investigations, analyses, and follow-ups.
- Analyze operational information and financial results.
- Compile reports and decision-making materials.
- Develop forecasts related to operations.
- Work with the budget process and budget follow-up.
- Act as a qualified support to managers in budget and financial matters.

Work model: Hybrid

To be successful in this role, you need:
- An academic degree in economics or another relevant field.
- Several years of experience in qualified controller or financial work.
- Good ability to work independently and drive your work forward.
- Experience with budget work, forecasts, and financial follow-up.
- Good communication skills and experience collaborating with managers and operations.
- Merits: Experience working within a government agency or other public sector operations.
- Merits: Previous experience with the accounting system Agresso.
- Merits: Experience with Hypergene for budget, forecast, and follow-up.
