At Aleva, we are now looking for a colleague who wants to work with a young woman who functions at the level of a 2-5 year old and lives at home with her parents and siblings.

In the role of care assistant/personal assistant

About the position

This is a combined position where you will work daytime hours on weekdays in the support role for approximately 35%, and the remaining 50% as a care assistant in home care services.

The client needs assistance seven days a week. You will primarily help with daily chores and activate and play together with the client. You will accompany her to day activities and other activities outside the home. You will have close cooperation with the client's parents.

The hourly wage is fixed according to agreement, and other compensations are made according to the collective agreement.
Start date: September 1st, with prior training/introduction as agreed.

We are looking for

Since we work with people, chemistry is important, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability. Key qualities are that you are calm, sensitive, and self-initiating. Since the work takes place mostly at home, we are looking for someone who understands this and has the ability to adapt to the family's habits and routines. We also believe that you are playful, creative, and proactive, while being clear and able to set boundaries.

At the client's request, we are looking for a female applicant who is a non-smoker. Since there are pets in the home, you should not have a fur allergy or be afraid of animals. Previous experience working as a childcare worker or similar is meritorious, as is knowledge of sign language and visual schedules. A requirement for the role is a valid B-driver's license.
