We are now looking for a team leader who wants to take increased responsibility for support, management, and development in the daily work within the Elderly Care Unit. Together with a colleague team leader, you will have an important role in the Elderly Care Unit's experienced and well-functioning team of social secretaries.

Elderly care in Nacka is in a crucial phase of development and transition. Based on the new Social Services Act and with an aging population, we continue to develop working methods that are accessible, evidence-based, and preventive.

Through your support in daily operations, you contribute to ensuring that administrative decisions are made in a legally secure, efficient, and high-quality manner. You help translate legislation, governance, and focus areas into clear and functional working methods – always with the Nacka resident in focus.

Your assignment:

As a team leader, you are responsible for leading and distributing the daily work. You conduct case reviews and support social secretaries in casework matters. You contribute to structure and coordination and promote learning, shared understanding, and development within the team.

You collaborate with other functions within the municipality and serve as a key link between operational work and the unit's continued development. The role requires you to be proactive and initiative-taking in developing operations and ensuring legally secure working methods.

The assignment also includes:

• planning and leading workshops and internal training initiatives
• contributing to keeping routines up-to-date and appropriate
• monitoring and reporting the unit's key figures to the team manager

Is this you?

We are looking for someone with good experience in the elderly care sector who wishes to use their competence in a role where support, coordination, and development are central.

For this role, we see that you have:

• a degree in Social Work
• several years of experience in administrative decision-making within elderly care
• strong ability to guide colleagues in complex cases and contribute to shared understanding of working methods
• experience and interest in analysis, follow-up, and development
• experience in direct work with the target group of elderly people
• excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

To succeed in the role, you are confident in your professional role and have a supportive, pedagogical, and trust-based approach. You combine good analytical skills with a pragmatic working style and can translate regulations and goals into practical action in everyday life.
