The Role
In the role of Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and stimulating environment where your passion, strengths, and competence will be encouraged and developed. The job involves following participants throughout their workday together with your colleagues, where you, as a Support Assistant, provide support based on the participants' individual needs.
During the workday, you will work both in groups and independently with the participants.
Participants engage in various tasks during the day, such as physical activities, creative work, music, computer work, social activities, etc.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support participants based on their individual needs.
- Support participants in activities.
- Support participants in communication.
- Support participants in care situations.
About You:
You have a genuine interest in the participants and are curious and open to receiving communication in various ways.
- You are sensitive and put the individual's needs at the center.
- You want to contribute to a good quality of life for people with disabilities.
- You work with a motivating approach.
- You have a creative streak and enjoy creating with different materials.
- You are flexible, responsible, and have good collaboration skills, as you will work in close contact with other staff.
- You are highly committed to your role and have a desire to develop our participants, yourself, and our daily operations together with us.
Qualifications:
- Upper secondary or post-secondary education deemed adequate by the employer for the role.
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
- Experience working with people with disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).
- Education and/or experience working with people with autism spectrum disorders, visual impairments, and other disabilities.
Additional Merits:
- Previous experience in daily activity programs (daglig verksamhet).
- Experience with low-affective handling.
- Experience with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
More About the Job
Working hours vary Monday–Friday between 07:30 and 16:30. Full-time position.
Start date according to agreement.
Interviews and hiring will take place on a rolling basis.

Move & Walk is a leader in Sweden within Conductive Education; a pedagogy-based system developed for children, young people, and adults with neurological disabilities. We offer several different types of operations, all permeated by Conductive Education: Adapted primary and upper secondary schools, Training (rehabilitation), administration of Personal Assistance, and Daily Activity programs.
To be eligible for this position, you must be able to provide a certificate of good conduct (police record) before employment.
