About the role

We are looking for a Service Manager with overall responsibility for the vehicle and maintenance operations within the business. You will play a key role in ensuring stable, efficient, and quality-assured operation of our vehicles and workshops.

In this role, you will be a central contact point for technical matters, both internally and with suppliers. You will drive the development of processes, working methods, and follow-up with a focus on operational reliability, cost-effectiveness, and high availability in the business.

Your responsibilities

As Service Manager, you have broad responsibility for ensuring a well-functioning and optimized vehicle and maintenance operation:

• Overall responsibility for vehicle and maintenance operations within the business
• Ensure optimal vehicle usage, lifespan, and cost-effective operation
• Ensure that decided processes, routines, and working methods are followed
• Drive and follow up on warranty processes with suppliers
• Ensure the business's interests are safeguarded as vehicle owner and system responsible
• Participate in vehicle procurement and ensure correct requirements from an operational and maintenance perspective
• Ensure daily technical support to operations, depots, and traffic control
• Responsible for operational reporting to finance
• Follow up on KPIs, maintenance scorecards, and action plans
• Ensure correct and updated vehicle data in relevant systems (FRIDA)
• Budget and delivery responsibility for the maintenance operation with a focus on quality, cost, and availability

Main tasks

In your daily work, you will among other things:

• Work closely with the technical department to develop and implement working methods and procedures
• Ensure quality in the procurement of materials and services in collaboration with purchasing
• Drive central initiatives and ensure implementation in the business
• Support the Business Manager in technical and operational matters
• Ensure a uniform working method in workshops and depots
• Follow up on vehicle data, contracts, and system information
• Ensure competence and training within relevant systems and processes
• Drive improvement and corrective actions to ensure delivery and development
