Do you want to work as a Buyer at Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration) and conduct business that leads to public benefit while having the opportunity for development?

As a Buyer at Trafikverket, you will become an important part of our business support team and contribute to us conducting value-creating and sustainable business for the benefit of society. In this role, you are responsible for executing and handling requisitions and procurement processes, primarily within the purchasing categories of Goods, Services, and Technically Approved Materials. You manage business activities that lead to public benefit, drive and participate in procurement processes, ensure progress and quality in procured contracts, and maintain good relationships with Trafikverket's suppliers. You support and assist other parts of Trafikverket, acting as business support and helping the organization with purchasing-related issues. You also contribute to the development of our working methods and processes.

Within the central function of Purchasing and Logistics, approximately 300 employees work with Trafikverket's purchasing activities, of which about 80 are in Borlänge. Here, you will encounter a diverse work environment where assignments span operational, tactical, and strategic levels.

We want you to:

• have a university degree of at least 180 hp (120 credits) with a focus on engineering, economics, or law, completed within the last five (5) years, or alternatively a Vocational Higher Education (YH) / Higher Education (KY) qualification completed within the last five (5) years combined with experience in public procurement that we collectively assess as equivalent. • have very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• have good proficiency in English, both spoken and written
