About the Company
ELMAB develops and produces high-quality hydraulic cylinders and valve blocks in both customized and standardized models. The products are used in construction machinery, forestry machinery, trucks, recycling equipment, and other industrial applications where quality, precision, and delivery reliability are crucial.
Manufacturing takes place in modern machine parks with a high degree of automation. Quality in product, delivery, and service has been ELMAB's hallmark for many years – and is something the company constantly strives to maintain and develop.
The ELMAB Group is in a clear growth phase. Since 2023, the group has been part of the Grönskärs Group, and in 2025, ELMAB acquired a majority stake in Melin & Carlsson Hydraulic AB, an established manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders with operations in Tranås and Borås. The acquisition strengthens the group's position and creates new opportunities for further growth.
As the group expands, ELMAB is now seeking an Outside Sales Representative who wants to develop the business by finding the right customers, creating new business opportunities, and contributing to long-term growth. The role covers Sweden as the primary district, with a portion of customers primarily in Northern Europe, which we also view as a growth market. The role involves mobile work with high customer presence, trade shows, and other business-related contexts.
Your Responsibilities
As an Outside Sales Representative at ELMAB, you will play a key role in creating new business opportunities and developing relationships with both new and existing customers. The assignment is not about selling everything to everyone, but about finding the right customers and the right deals – focusing on high-volume products, long-term profitability, and solutions that fit the company's capacity and strategy.
The role is mobile and involves significant travel to customers, trade shows, and other relevant meeting places. In the long term, the ambition is for you to spend a large part of your time at customer sites, while working systematically with follow-up, planning, and reporting. Initially, there is room to get to know the products, the business, and the customer structure to gradually build an independent and accurate working method.
You will work closely with internal functions, including inside sales, production, and engineering, to ensure that customer dialogue aligns with the company's offerings and delivery capabilities. A key part of the role will be to embrace ELMAB's values and understand the business deeply – from customer needs to costing, technology, and production prerequisites.
Sales are characterized by longer sales cycles where endurance, structure, and correct prioritization are crucial. You are expected to identify and process customers with relevant potential, build trust, and drive business opportunities forward in a professional and business-like manner.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who have experience in B2B sales and thrive in a role where you drive your daily work forward yourself. You do not need to know everything from the start, but you need the right ambition, willingness to learn, and ability to immerse yourself in a technical and business-oriented environment. Experience in industrial, technical, or product-related sales is advantageous.
You have a technical interest and a desire to understand how the customer's application affects the solution – for example, how pressure, load, hydraulics, sealing, and material selection interact in a hydraulic cylinder. You also have an economic mindset and understand the importance of costing, margins, and correct prioritization in the sales process. You work systematically with customer leads, follow-up, and planning, have basic Excel skills, and experience with Monitor is advantageous. Since ELMAB has international customers and the group also has sales outside Sweden, you need to feel confident communicating in English.
As a person, you are proactive, driven, and structured, with a professional and humble customer attitude. You build relationships naturally but maintain business focus and understand when it is right to prioritize, decline, or move forward.
