About the role

As an IT Technician/Consultant at GDM, you work in a customer team delivering services and solutions based on customer needs, contributing to securing their business for the future. You work primarily from our nice office, but sometimes work is also performed at the customer's site.

You will work with cases, assignments, and projects where you actively ensure the quality of orders. The work involves planning and prioritizing tasks, while maintaining continuous dialogue with customers and other stakeholders.

We work customer-focused to deliver high quality and value in our services. Your goal is to execute assignments within agreed time, budget, and quality, as well as provide clear action proposals that streamline the customer's IT environment. You are expected to continuously develop your competence, both by showing personal interest in learning and by actively following and monitoring developments within your field.

The role also involves acting as a consultant and working proactively to develop the customer's IT business. We welcome that you continuously share improvement suggestions that strengthen our internal development and help us stay ahead.

We see that you have a few years of experience in IT, and it is desirable that you have post-secondary education, for example, a university college education in IT, or certifications in relevant areas. If you have knowledge in one or more of the following areas, it is an advantage:

• operation and administration of Azure cloud solutions
• management of devices and applications with Intune
• administration and development of SharePoint
• holistic solutions and integration in Microsoft 365
• identity and access management with Entra ID
• operation and troubleshooting of networks
• security architecture, incident management, and IAM

Remote work from another location is not possible, as the position is based in Sundsvall and requires presence at the workplace. A valid driver's license (Category B) is a requirement, and you must be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

To thrive in the role, you need to be solution-oriented and analytical, with the ability to see connections and think long-term. Handling challenges constructively and focused, as well as maintaining a realistic perspective even under pressure, are important qualities. You are also structured and meticulous, plan your work well, and ensure tasks are completed on time.
