The role of Chief Information Assurance Officer (CIAO) is crucial for ensuring the company's and our partners' compliance with cybersecurity requirements to protect our systems and data from potential threats.

Your future challenge

As Chief Information Assurance Officer (CIAO), you ensure that we strictly follow the rules and guidelines established by the company and its supervisory authority, FMV, in accordance with current legislation and regulations, both national and international standards, as well as other external and internal requirements that we as a company must adhere to.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Lead the work with interpretation and practical implementation of processes for information security and cybersecurity compliance according to current standards, such as ISO 27000, CMMC, UK Cyber Essentials, and FMV ISM, among others.
• Conduct controls and follow-ups of standards both internally within the organization and with subcontractors to ensure compliance.
• Act as support in all parts of the business regarding information and IT security compliance, and contribute to integrating security into all business processes.
• Provide specific support and advice to the CISO and security managers at each business unit regarding compliance and security strategies.
• Be responsible for supply chain security from an IT and information security perspective, and support the implementation of security measures among suppliers and partners.
• Support reporting on security to our owners as well as to FMV-Säk, and collaboration partners, ensuring that all relevant information is correct and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with the rest of the security organization, certification bodies, and unit manager on issues related to IT security, information security, continuity management, and certification.
• Drive and promote continuous improvements within the business related to information and IT security, and contribute to the development of a robust security culture.

Who you are?

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in similar areas of responsibility, with particular merit given to experience within defense industry companies, authorities, or public operations where the handling of security classified information (within the areas of information security, personal security, and physical security) has been managed in the role.

Good knowledge of current laws and regulations, such as:

• The Security Protection Act (2018:585)
• The Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (2009:400)
• The Industry Security Manual (ISM)
• CMMC V2, NIST SP800-171, NIS2, EU Cyber Security Act and UK Cyber Essentials, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, GDPR, EU Data Act
• Experience in technical cybersecurity auditing
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with various stakeholders in the organization and with suppliers
• Certifications in IT or cybersecurity are meritorious, e.g., CISA.

You have your own drive and are used to working independently while valuing integrity and having good collaboration skills. We are looking for you who have an engaged and communicative work style and who are motivated by translating the laws and regulations the company is subject to into a functioning operational daily life. You have good analytical skills, are meticulous, and have a structured work approach.

You are fluent in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing, and hold a valid driver's license (Category B).

Travel is involved in the role, both within Sweden and internationally.
