We are now strengthening our team with two additional medical care administrators to help improve accessibility at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry unit.

Care administration is a central function in the clinic's operations, and we aim to jointly develop administrative practices and ensure that the clinic's administrative processes run smoothly. The position includes standard responsibilities for a medical care administrator, including but not limited to medical documentation, patient administration, invoicing, mail handling, and administrative support to other professional groups. The work is highly varied and offers close collaboration with all professional groups within psychiatry.

You must be able to work independently, be solution-focused, and have a professional attitude. Contributing to the unit's development and change projects is seen as a natural part of your work.

Education as a medical care administrator, medical secretary, or healthcare secretary is required. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, be service-oriented, flexible, independent, and meticulous, as well as have good teamwork skills. You are good at building positive relationships with both patients and colleagues and enjoy working in a team. Knowledge of the Cosmic medical record system is considered an advantage.

You are open to development and enjoy working towards continuous improvements in operations as well as developing in your professional role. Contributing to the unit's development and change projects is seen as a natural part of your work. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The Psychiatry Unit provides both emergency and planned care within outpatient and inpatient services. We have administration at Örebro University Hospital, Karlskoga, Hallsberg, and Lindesberg. Care administration is a central function in our operations, ensuring that administrative processes run smoothly. The psychiatric administration consists of approximately 60 medical care administrators distributed among three unit managers.
