At Bykrogen in Österslöv, we believe it is the people who make the difference. We are now looking for a destination host who wants to provide our guests with a warm, personal, and professional welcome – from the first greeting to the final farewell.

Bykrogen is located in Österslöv, only about 10 minutes by bus north of Kristianstad.

About the role

As a destination host, you are the face of Bykrogen and an important part of the guests' experience. The role is varied and combines hotel, restaurant, and conference duties. You work closely with both guests and colleagues, ensuring everything runs smoothly throughout the day.

Since we are a small operation, we help each other where needed. Therefore, we are looking for you who are unpretentious, responsible, and thrive in an environment where tasks may vary.

Your responsibilities

• Check in and out hotel guests.
• Provide personal service and assist guests with questions and requests.
• Take orders and collaborate with the kitchen during restaurant service.
• Prepare restaurant and conference facilities.
• Ensure that facilities and common areas maintain high quality.
• Help with dishes and other practical tasks when needed.
• Contribute to good teamwork and a seamless guest experience through clear handovers between shifts.

We are looking for you who

• Are passionate about service and hospitality.
• Are positive, solution-oriented, and responsible.
• Find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships.
• Enjoy varied work and sometimes a fast pace.
• Have good Swedish skills in speech and writing. English is an advantage.

Experience from hotels, restaurants, or conferences is a plus, but your personality and attitude are the most important.
