Are you an experienced building constructor who thrives on varied projects from foundation to roof? We are now looking for you to take a key role in our projects and ensure that our constructions maintain the highest quality. With us, you will work on everything from small accessory dwelling units (attefallshus) to larger new constructions and earthworks.

ABOUT OUR COMPANIES AND YOUR WORK AREAS

Nordiska Inglasningar: Industry-leading in customized and high-quality balcony glazing for the Nordic climate. Here, your focus will primarily be on glazing constructions and building permit constructions, especially for more advanced objects.

Nordiska Uterum & Byggnadsentrenprenad: Specialists in extensions and winterized outdoor rooms in the residential segment, which often resembles traditional house building more than simple outdoor rooms. This includes everything from earthworks and adjustments to including pools and finished buildings. Projects involving accessory dwelling units are also common.

Here, illustrations and visualizations, such as 3D renderings, are an important part of the dialogue with our customers.

Dörrsnabben: Manufactures and delivers doors, windows, facades, and glass roofs for large and complex projects (e.g., Citybanan and Stockholmsmässan). This involves metal component manufacturing where structures need to be determined, drawn up in programs, and calculated with high precision.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The position is located at our headquarters and production facilities in Eskilstuna, and this is where you will base your daily work.

As a constructor with us, your main focus will be on technical solutions, 3D visualizations, construction, calculations, and technical assistance to the rest of the organization. You will be involved in a number of different projects.

Although your primary area of responsibility is the technical engineering segment and construction, a basic understanding of architecture is needed, as this facilitates a holistic view in our varied projects and is of great help when creating illustrations and visualizations.

For our customers, especially regarding outdoor rooms and extensions, clear illustrations and visualizations are an important element that helps them see their future project before construction begins. Here, AI is an essential and now indispensable tool, and we would be pleased if you were curious about and comfortable using AI-based tools to quickly produce high-quality visualizations.

Customer contact is a natural and common part of the role. Therefore, you need to be comfortable both with contacting customers via phone and with conducting site visits to customers, where you take measurements, check conditions, and have a dialogue regarding technical solutions.

In your role, you will work with among other things:

• Structural Calculations: Ensuring durability and safety in all types of construction projects.
• New and Extension Buildings: Design and construction of extensions to homes and properties, including advanced outdoor rooms and living spaces.
• Renovations and Adjustments: Adapting and reinforcing existing structures.
• Earthworks and Property Development: Planning and construction in connection with earthworks & ground calculations.
• Accessory Dwelling Units and Pools: Specialized solutions for smaller buildings as well as construction and design in connection with pool facilities.
• Metal Components and Facades: Determining, drawing, and calculating structures for doors, windows, and glass roofs.
• Illustrations and Visualizations: Creating clear illustrations and visualizations (e.g., 3D renderings) that help the customer see their future outdoor room or extension before construction starts. AI is an essential tool in this work.
• Customer Contact and Site Visits: Maintaining ongoing contact with customers via phone and conducting site visits for measurement, coordination, and technical advice.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for you who have a solid background in construction and contracting. You are confident in your role as a constructor and have the ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.

We would like you to have:

• Documented experience as a building constructor.
• Strong competence in structural calculations.
• Experience with earthworks, new constructions, extensions, and renovations.
• Experience working on projects involving accessory dwelling units and property earthworks.
• Basic knowledge in architecture and building permit drawings.
• Experience in creating illustrations and visualizations, such as 3D renderings, as a basis for customer dialogue.
• Interest in and preferably experience with AI-based tools for visualization, as AI is an essential tool in our work (meritorious).
• Comfortable with customer contact, both via phone and during site visits.
• Good knowledge of the construction process and contracting.
• Generally good technical engineering knowledge.
