Do you want to help secure the future competence within the installation sector? INSU is now looking for an engaged and experienced examiner for our training facilities in Katrineholm to lead and assess industry exams for aspiring plumbing and heating installers.

About the role

INSU conducts plumbing and heating installation exams on behalf of the Plumbing and Heating Industry's Professional Committee (VVSYN) at testing sites in Katrineholm and Hässleholm. The exams are conducted in accordance with the routine description established by VVSYN. As an examiner at INSU, you play a crucial role in the apprentices' path towards the industry certificate and are responsible for conducting and impartially assessing the industry exam for plumbing and heating installers.

Your main responsibilities

• Leading and instructing: Conduct introductions, go through the exam rules, and guide participants during the exam.
• Assessment and quality assurance: Review and assess the installation exam.
• Feedback and documentation: Document results digitally and provide constructive, professional feedback to exam participants.
• Facility management: Prepare and restore exam stations, and oversee tools and materials before and after each exam session.

We are looking for someone who has

• Professional background: Requirements include an industry certificate as a plumbing and heating installer and at least 5 years of professional experience from both service and contracting jobs.
• Pedagogical ability: You enjoy meeting people, can explain assessment criteria clearly, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
• Attention to detail: High professional pride with a sharp eye for details, standards, and safety regulations.
• Digital proficiency: Basic computer skills to handle exam administration and result reporting.

About the employment

Employment type: Full-time, we apply a 6-month probationary period with the aim of transitioning to a permanent position.
