About the Role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer for our client, ÄC-konsult. The role suits you who want to work in a small and streamlined organization where you have significant responsibility and the opportunity to make an impact. The projects primarily involve concrete buildings with high safety requirements, and the role entails a broad position where you work both independently and in close collaboration with other functions. The position is full-time during daytime hours and begins with a six-month probationary period before transitioning to a permanent position. The location is Eskilstuna, with the possibility of some remote work once you are settled in the role.

Job Description

In this role, you are responsible for project management during the design phase, where you coordinate the various parts of the project and ensure that all involved parties deliver according to plan. You work on creating structural drawings in Tekla and also use AutoCAD and the Office suite as a natural part of your work. You gather the project's requirements, create a holistic view of the needs, and follow up to ensure that the right activities are carried out, such as material orders and other practical tasks related to the project's development. Since the organization is small, it is also important that you enjoy working without hierarchy and can contribute where needed, even outside your core competence.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a Civil Engineer or have equivalent experience (e.g., lead precast designer or project manager in construction) and have worked for at least five years in a similar role. You thrive in a smaller company where tasks vary and where your flexibility and lack of hierarchy are valuable assets. For this position, experience with Tekla, AutoCAD, and the Office suite is required. It is also a requirement that you are a Swedish citizen, have a clean criminal record, and can pass a security clearance, as the projects involve high safety requirements. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and benefit from understanding English. A driver's license is required, and you should appreciate working both structured and practically close to the operations.
